My secret cunning plan was to start with the metathon, and then keep the com going as a general meta community. Apart from anything else there will be lots of meta subjects left after the metathon itself and I hope people may want to make use of them with time.
So yes, a link here will be entirely appropriate eventually. However would you mind waiting until after the metathon before you post your link? I think I don't want to complicate matters or confuse people as to why an essay has appeared. If that sounds a bit mean I am open to persuasion.
